The Wee American Lassie is a Girl-meets-Boy black-comedy set around a transatlantic clash of cultures.
In this stage play, written by Kevin Connor, a teenage female American football player (sorry, soccer player!) signs for Glasgow Rangers and moves into lodgings at Betty’s Boutique Guesthouse where she finds that she’s rooming next door to a young academy player from Rangers’ most bitter rivals, Glasgow Celtic.
Under Betty’s watchful eyes, the secrets they’re carrying are revealed - and then they brutally collide...
Kevin Connor is a Mechanical Engineer, originally from Glasgow, who works in the Marine industry, but who’d rather come storming out of the closet as a professional playwright.
He’s had several full length plays read at the Player Playwrights. He lives in Surrey.
