Middle-aged biology professor Anthony Pennington is on a trip to a conference in Venice with his 20-year-old star student, the pretty but underconfident Emily, when his ex-wife, Miranda, shows up.

But all is not as it appears...

Weekend in Venice is a comedy drama for stage with a running time of 70 minutes.

Robert Frew is a playwright based in Scotland and East Sussex. Several of his short and one-act plays have been performed on the London Fringe. His short play 'What Big Sister's Do' receives a staged reading at the INK Festival, Halesworth, Suffolk on Thursday 16th April.
