Guest Speaker: KIMBERLEY ANDREWS, London Playwrights Workshop, 7.30pm, Monday 30 June, Upstairs @North London Tavern

Kimberley Andrews is the co-founder of the London Playwrights Workshop (LPW) (www.londonplaywrights.org) and will be our speaker next Monday.

The LPW supports writers in developing their craft and careers through online resources, workshops and courses. They also offer script consulting / dramaturgical support and their weekly blog lists all open opportunities for writers in London and beyond.

Kimberley will talk about aspects of development such as improving dialogue and structure. She will also talk about submitting plays for production on the fringe and finding professional outlets for scripts.

Kimberley herself is a playwright and dramaturg. As a playwright she has worked with many regional theatres. She has also written and produced comedy sketch shows on the London Fringe.

As a dramaturg she has worked with the BBC and tutored playwriting MA students at RADA.
