GOOD NEIGHBOURS by RON FERNEE - MONDAY 11TH NOVEMBER 7.30PM, Upstairs North London Tavern

An elderly man is attacked in the park and left to his fate.

To add to his plight, he can't get up from the ground. A sympathetic woman comes along and helps him. He is incensed when she tells him that the local ambulance station has been closed down.

The community has already lost the hospital, the police station, and the arts centre to development. They decide to take action and mobilise the community. But why are they met with such obstruction from their local Councillor and indifference from the residents?

Can they bring the ambulances back before it's too late?

Ron Fernee is a professional actor and has been a member of PP for around five years. In 2011 he earned an MA in Screenwriting from UAL. He has since won the Lear Prize and he was a winner of the Capsule Theatre Competition. This is Ron's first stage play in two years.
