A very special event to round off the current season on Player Playwright – a radio play by a highly distinguished Player Playwright Member which was broadcast by BBC Radio Four many years ago.
Our joint president, Maurice Gran will be speaking and we will also be able to enjoy the reading of a highly successful play by distinguished member of Player Playwrights, Peter Thompson.
Peter, as we all know, has been the lifeblood of Player Playwrights for many years and without him we could not have flourished as a group in the way we have.
Peter's play, 'Dormer and Granddaughter' was previously produced on BBC Radio.

During lockdown Player Playwright went online. The online events proved a success and so for this coming season we plan to alternate between live events at our traditional home, Upstairs at the North London Tavern, and online via Zoom.
