Ron and Dark Arts by Ian Reade (double bill of short plays)

Dark Art is a one act play which begins in the confused aftermath of a village wake. The adage, "Love thy neighbour" is tested to its fullest and with a good dose of black humour. "Ron": A mother and daughter invite a stranger to their hotel room in order to recount a disturbing tale from their past. "Ron" is a dark piece of story-telling theatre which combines aspects of Greek myth and tragedy with the modern day. Ian Reade is a drama teacher who writes and acts when time allows. His first play for PP, "Burn The Witch" was performed last year.
