Going Going Going by Peter Thompson

Radio play

At a school auction a 6th former puts her grandfather’s services as a barrister up for bids and he is knocked down to the art teacher who needs him in court the next morning.

Will he come out of retirement? Can he save the day? Hmmmm.

Peter Thompson is a retired barrister who keeps on writing 45 minute radio plays about the law. One of them went out on the World Service many years ago.

The theme for the next Players Playwright short play contest is The Times Are A-Changin' and the deadline for entries is Monday 18 February. Click here for details and get writing!
