Stage-reading of Whatever Happened to Rick Marks, a comedy for the

theatre by Francis Beckett.

Rick Marks – the beautiful, charismatic, romantic student revolutionary leader from

1968 - secretly contacts his old comrades Anne and Marigold as the century turns. Is

there a new plot afoot to overthrow the tyranny of capitalism? Or does he have some

slightly less elevated purpose?

Francis Beckett is a journalist, author, biographer and playwright. His most recent

non-fiction book, Fascist in the Family, was published by Routledge in 2016.

Entry to Monday events is £2.50 for members and £4 for non-members.
