About The Event
Failed theologian Dr. Jack Martino sets up a support group for disaffected masturbators. After a promising start, the group has whittled itself down to a select core. This could be because most of the group are embarrassed and uncomfortable, whereas Martino is evangelical and defiant. And then his ex-wife decided joins.
THE M WORD, in case you were wondering, is a comedy.
Peter Briffa was the programme secretary for Player-Playwrights from 2008 to 2011. He has had five plays produced in London, most recently the one many show IT HAPPENED TO ME, which opened Upstairs at the Gatehouse, then transferred to the Old Red Lion, and starred Jonathan Hansler. here
