SUMMER COMPETITION: THE JOURNEY
On Zoom | 15 June

We’re now open for submissions.

What you need to know:

• 1000–1500 words (include the word count — stage directions count too)

• 2–4 characters (any gender), with a character list

• No monologues

• Send as a Word doc (not PDF)

• Keep your name off the script

Casting & read-through:

• Casting is handled by Lynne O'Sullivan (you can suggest ideas)

• You’ll get one read-through with the cast

• You can give brief notes

• You’ll need to set this up yourself on Zoom

Keeping it fair:

• Scripts are anonymous

• Cast are asked not to share writer names

Deadlines:

• Submit by Monday 1 June

• Send to Lynne O'Sullivan at pplaywrights@gmail.com

• First 10 scripts only (we may read more at a later date)

• What you submit is final — no edits after

After the readings:

• Send scores by Thursday 18 June

• Results announced Friday 19 June

• You can’t vote for your own script

• Lynne O'Sullivan won’t be scoring
