About The Event
Atiha Sen Gupta is a former Writer In Residence at the Theatre Royal, Stratford East. Her debut play, What Fatima Did…, has recently been revived at Tara Theatre, 17 years after it first premiered to critical acclaim. She describes herself as a writer who is interested in telling the stories of those who stitch the red carpet rather than those who stand on it.
Atiha will be speaking about playwriting and her own playwriting journey. She will also be running a writing exercise!
