THE MIRACLE WORKER, 7.30pm, Monday 18th October : ON ZOOM
THE MIRACLE WORKER by KATHARINE WAY
HANNAH, 17, is a faith-healer, communing with the spirit world. This is what her mother has brought her up to do.
While other teens are going out and having fun, Hannah spends her days at college and her evenings in church halls curing people's ailments.
Then she makes a real friend, for the first time, falls for a boy - and starts to question everything about the life she's lived till now. Is any of it real? Does she have healing powers, is her spirit guide mere fancy? And are she and her mother - with the best intentions - perhaps doing more harm than good?
This 45 minute radio play by Katharine Way was produced and broadcast for the Afternoon Drama slot on BBC Radio 4
Join us at 7.30pm on Monday on the Zoom link below, unless you are a member of the cast. If so, join for the rehearsal at 6pm on the same link.
