A Night of Monologues: 7.30pm, Monday 18 January 2021

Player Playwrights had an amazing response to our call out to Members for short monologue pieces. So much so that we are having TWO nights of Monologues, starting this coming Monday.
The Monday 18 January programme:
THE YELLOW - Gemma Mills McGrath - read by Jim Mannering
FUNBEE TRAVEL - Written and performed by Karen Bartholomew
THE MAN AT THE GATE - Francis Beckett - read by Phil Philmar
IN GLORIA - Meryl Walker - read by Miranda Keeling
TRUMP CARD - Sally Sheringham - read by Carrie Cohen
EGG AND SPOON - Melville Lovatt - read by Anthea Courtenay
MY FATHER - Martin Keady - read by Phil Philmar
THE PLAY OF LIGHT - Tom Pauk - read by Carrie Cohen
THOSE WERE THE DAYS - Peter Skyte - read by Pete Picton
The live performances will be available to all Members on Zoom from 7.30pm on Monday. They will also be able to discuss the work with other members and the writers and vote for their favourites.
A second evening of Monologues will take place on zoom on Monday, 8 March.
The best monologues will be recorded and available to watch on the upcoming Player Playwright YouTube site.
